Apostle Harrison Nichols, Sr.

Apostle Harrison Nichols was born December 19, 1946 to John and Inez Nichols in Houston, Texas.

 

At age twenty, Apostle Nichols received the gift of the Holy Ghost in Austin Texas. After receiving this spiritual deliverance by the Lord, he began to seek God further through much prayer, knowing he was called to be an Apostle.


In 1967, at age twenty one, Harrison was ordained as an Apostle under the leadership of Bishop H.M Bolden at the Rock of Salvation Holiness Church in Houston, Texas where he worked faithfully for nine years.  

 

On February 14, 1976 Apostle Nichols was joined in holy matrimony to Dorothy Butler at Emmanuel Apostolic Church of Christ in Houston, Texas under the leadership of District Elder Willie Gibson, Founder and Pastor.  Apostle Nichols and his devoted wife have been married for forty eight years.  They have one son, Harrison Nichols Jr., daughter in law Linsia, and two beautiful granddaughters, Che'Anna and Destyne Nichols.

 

Before briefly moving to Dallas, Texas Apostle and Sister Nichols served as members of New Day Deliverance Church pastored by Apostle Richard Taylor in Houston, Texas.

Later on, Apostle Nichols served for a period of five years as Assistant Pastor of World Center Apostolic Deliverance Temple in Dallas, Texas under the leadership of Bishop Arthur Mooring.

 

On January 4, 1983 under the leadership of Apostle Nichols, World Outreach Deliverance Temple was established in Houston, Texas.  Apostle Nichols successfully pastored two churches for sixteen years in Houston, Texas while he was a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World organization.  Many souls were delivered and saved through various tent revivals and crusades.  Three churches have evolved from that great work:  Harvest Evangelism, Love Outreach Deliverance Temple, and Faith Tabernacle Christian Center.  And five additional churches have been blessed through this ministry. All of these churches are still active.

 

From January 10, 1995 to October 29, 2001, Apostle Nichols worked at Christian Tabernacle with Bishop David Kearney in Conroe, Texas.  He assisted in organizing and training Ministers and Deacons.  

 

On February 20, 2000, Apostle Nichols was consecrated as an apostle by Apostle Dennis Douglas along with fourteen Bishops and leaders, including Bishop Bobby Butler in Houston, Texas.         

 

          "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:" Ephesians 1:4 (KJV)


In the same year, on September 16, Apostle Nichols formed World Outreach Christian Assembly Inc. Organization.  For approximately eleven years he organized Executive Board members, officers and conventions teaching the Fivefold Ministry.

 

Apostle Nichols was led to serve in the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith Inc., headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky for ten years.  While in the PCAF Apostle Nichols began as a Pastor, was elevated to District Elder and eventually to the office of a Bishop.

 

Also during the period of July 2009 to April 2015, Apostle and Sister Nichols attended Revival House Church in Spring, Texas with Prophet Bruce Parks as Pastor.  He continued doing the work of an apostle while at Revival House Church.

 

Later in April 2015, Apostle Nichols was installed as Diocesan Bishop of the South Pacific in the Shield of Faith Fellowship Church International Inc., led by Apostle Henry Alexander.  

 

For fifty eight years Apostle Nichols has diligently worked and served as an Apostle teaching the Fivefold Ministry while devoting himself to foreign missions work supporting mission works in Kenya, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Israel and other countries.  Apostle Nichols has always shown an endearing devotion and love toward foreign missions of which he affectionately calls "his baby".
