Sis. LaKesha Wilson was born on November 17, 1973 to Nathan and Cheryl Robertson. She was raised in the Holiness church and acknowledged the call of God on her life at the age of 9. Though she did not yield to the call, the mercy of God followed her. At the age of 25, she surrendered her life to the Lord and has served Him faithfully for the last 25 years.

 

She received the gift of the Holy Ghost under the ministry of Bishop Leon Parker. She was a member of Zion Apostolic Temple and served on the Nurses Guild for 15 years. During this time, she also served on the Texas State Health Professional Board of the P.A.W. She takes great pride in serving the Church and lives by the sentiment “be careful how you handle God’s people.” She believes that we are sometimes a person’s first encounter with Jesus, so her heart’s mission is to live is such a way that people would be drawn to Christ.

 

She is the wife of Pastor Samuel Wilson, of God’s Head-lifting Grace Church. Together they have raised their 3 children, their niece and nephew and have 4 grandchildren. She believes that servitude starts in the home and desires to leave a legacy of Holiness that will have an impact for generations to come.
