Bishop Michael Lee

BIOGRAPHY

A Life of Faithful Service

At the age of 6, Pastor Michael Lee was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ by District Elder Richard Johnson under the leadership of District Elder Willie Gibson at the Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church.

In 1979, Pastor Michael Lee followed Bishop Bobby Butler to Emmanuel Deliverance Temple of Refuge (EDT) and received the gift of the Holy Ghost and officially became a brother in the Lord.

In 1980, Elder Michael Lee was licensed through the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World as a minister. In 1985, Elder Michael Lee became the youth president of EDT, also serving as one of the musicians.

In 1991, Elder Michael Lee joined the leadership of the late Marvin Mims of the New Hope Holiness Church and was the assistant pastor for 9 years.

In 1999, Elder Michael Lee was impressed by the Lord to start church. After informing my pastor, Marvin Mims, of the call, Pastor Mims stated that he knew that it was just a matter of time before the Lord elevated me. The New Hope Holiness Church did everything they could to help me get started.

After many locations, the Lord has blessed Pastor Lee and the New Faith Community Center Church to purchase a building and convert into a church. Our location is 12755 Woodforest Blvd., Houston, TX 77015.

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.”
